We will be having a Mini Dwarf race on our new track in the middle of the Santa Maria Speedway. Same classes and rules that you guys are used to running. This is 1 of 2 special events for the Mini Dwarfs at Santa maria speedway. The other is Labor day weekend Sunday Sept 6th.
INFO:
Driver is free
Crew is $35.00 each
Pits open first thing in the morning and then we do a pit sweep at 12:45
Kids and cars will be in a roped off area. We do not have the room this weekend for you to pit with your trailer, but we will have a trailer w/generator, welder, air compressor in the roped off area.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each class
Camping is free all weekend

Santa Maria cut a new MINI DWARF track in the front stretch. Alittle longer straights than VEN & BFL with tighter corners.
The MINI DWARFS pitted in the infield of the BIG TRACK. Which was exciting to see the 360's slinging dirt only 15 feet away.
There were 6 Junior Divions drivers & 9 Senior Division drivers for this inaugural event @ Santa Maria Speedway.
8 lap Heat Races
JR Heat Race Winner - Kyle Peterson #99 (VRA)
Kameron Garofalo #25 (BFL)
SR Heat Race Winner - (name) #30 (BFL) old VRA lippert car

15 lap Main Events
JR MAIN WINNER - Kyle Peterson #99 (VRA)
Kameron Garofalo #25 (BFL)

SR MAIN WINNER - Tony Lamas #20 (BFL)

During Intermission they interviewed the TOP 3 from both the JR & SR Divisions. And all got to have their pictures taken with TWO (2) Trophy Girls and all 6 got LARGE Trophies to take home. The joke was the boys were in a Trophy Girl Sandwich...
