Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that I am doing better each day. Still Very Sore but am able to be up and moving a little longer each day. The injury wasn’t as bad as was first thought. There is a fracture between T6 & T7, however the Doctor said that it was an old fracture. I did bruise the same area, which is why I am in such pain.
We are hoping to bring the motor home out on Saturday so that I can be there for the end of the season races and the activities, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.
I want to Thank You All for your concerns for me. Your phone calls, emails, texts, and post here have been very special to us.
I have to give a Special Thank You to Jammy, who loaned Steve her vehicle to come to the hospital. To Big Mike for then loaning Jammy his vehicle to come to the hospital to get the trophies out of her car. Jammy then went to our house, got our car and took it to the hospital so that we would have a way to get home when the time came. She sat with Steve and I until she couldn’t keep her eyes open, so we sent her home.
Also A Special Thank You to Bill and Vivian, The Taylor’s and The Woods for all they did to get our equipment loaded and home to us.
To the Ventura Raceway Crew, Thank You all for Your Help. Not only for your help on the track, but also for help getting my car loaded and staying with us until I left for the Hospital.
I can’t believe that there is a better place to race than Ventura. Our track staff, racers, and fans are second to none.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to let all know that I returned to work today - Monday. I continue to feel better everyday and look forward to being back next year.
