Hope someone can answer this, if I have a VRA Membership but have not raced all season due to my car being in pieces, am I able to race the Fair Night if I am able to get it back together in time? I heard that if someone has not run a race prior to the Fair race that he or she will not be able to race. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Dillon

| Boy Dillon, I have not heard that one. As far as I have known you need a membership the present season! If anyone has other info please post it |

| What I remember from last year was you had to have the full membership for this season including your registered car number for the current year. Because I had people calling me from another tack to come race, I also found out that, You can race only 1 (one) time at Ventura without being a member and the only race that you could not race as a non member was the fair race. I remember one person last year buying the full membership last year just to race that night but I dont remember who it was. Hope that helps... |

| Thanks guys, that helps a lot. I am going to have to get the car together sooner or later, just rather it be sooner. See you all at the track! |

I asked the exact same question to Jim last week on the phone - He confirmed with Jaime(sp) and said that
"You must be a current VRA driver & VRA car to race the FAIR RACE."
I overheard on the phone something about IMCA having to race once. But as far as the other classes you were good to go as long as your were VRA.

Yuk-Yuk. I hope to have fire in this thing soon. Your pops said it should be running before he gets back from KY. |
