I would say they are telling you to drive harder. All that is much easier said than done. You must also remember that the car is only capable to a limit. If you drive it past that you will certainly wreck it.

it made me really mad cause i am not out there for a sunday drive if i was i would not bother coming out on saturday.  and things of the sort have been said to me on more then one occasion.  and only a few of the people at the track know my car real well. it is hard for me to drive, for this reason or that but mostly cause i am not very confortible in the car, its not set up for me.  i dont start anything if i only feel half way into it. the last thing i want to do out there is get in the wayand get run over.  i am out there doing my best and i keep catching flack from some of the people close to me. and all i really was looking for was a lil encouragment not sunshine just encouragement.

Hey Sara...

First off...im curious who said that to you. Second...you should be proud that you have not bent your car up. And third...you seem to always have fun at the track. Thats whats most important. Forget whatever you were told about "youre not driving hard enough because you have not wrecked." Take pride in the fact that you can go out there and race with a fast group of guys, and not bend up one tenth of the stuff that they do on an average night. You dont get in the way so dont think you do, and like i said before, just go out and keep having fun.

Dillon #95

p.s. Sorry i didnt get a chance to talk to you at the banquet, i was a little....out of sorts Wink

Mike Lewis

I don't know what to call you and not have them take this post off of the board. Trouble Maker should pass their censorship and that is a good name for you. How about Drama Queen, that should pass their censorship, as well and that is a very fitting description of you. Everything else that comes to mind probably won't pass the censors. However, I will try Dumb Sh_t.

This is a very tough situation to be in, as I am not trying to bash Sara and in reality she did improve this year. I wish her well and hope that she keeps on getting better, but in no stretch of the imagination was she the most improved driver.

I heard one guy saying that he and his friends thought that Ray Estrada should have won the most improved driver.  Duh, Ray won Rookie of the year. You can't win most improved driver from the previous year and win Rookie of the year at the same time.

Basically, you and the others who thought Chris should not have won have a totally different agenda than what you are complaining about here. Let's get this out in the open, you know sort of like coming out of the closet. For some reason you don't like the way Mike Sweeney runs the dwarfs at Ventura and that he shows favoritism to his grandson.

If that is in fact what you really mean with all this stuff, let me refer you back to the dumb sh_t reference. Having raced with other clubs through the years Ventura's dwarf program is the best there is. However, I understand how a few of the members are so used to crying all the time if they don't get their way, that having an organization that makes decisions based on rules and/ or what is best for the entire organization would really upset them. However, I wouldn't put you in that catagory with the other malcontents.

I would put you in the Trouble Maker/ Drama Queen category. You are bitter because he will out run you as long as land lasts and he is only going to get better and you aren't half as good as you think and with the way you drive, you have no chance of catching him. The trouble maker moniker is where you and the other malcontents are on the same page. You all can't get your way and you have no chance to beat the really good drivers in the club, so you all cause trouble. Quite frankly, the majority of the members of the VRA would  be happy if you never showed up.

Finally, saying that he "showed his true colors" when he didn't say anything when he got the award is another instance of you malcontents piling on to a nineteen year old kid who really did deserve the award. You don't think he heard you guys saying all that BS that you were spreading. Ultimately, what you did was take the joy of winning a well deserved award away from a kid and ruining his night.  Actually, you showed your true colors in taking such a cheap shot. I hope you all are happy.

So in conclusion, Mike Lewis you are one trouble making, drama queen, dumb sh_t, a__hole and as for me either shut up and drive your race car or go do something else.

JP
