Its been a busy past 2 days in the Diamondback barn. Today I had a celeb driver stop buy to volunteer. It was rainy so he could not work. Rather than going to the bar and possibly getting home late he helped with some new door latches. Much appreciated.

Then it was time to C-notch the frame for tie rod clearance.

And lastly, motor mounts all welded up. Long day = progress if you're lucky. Good help is a blessing. Thanks again.

Seat setback is modified by sectioning the x member and welding in new seat pan also giving more legroom and headroom for driver safety.

New door handles engineered and built by my new BFF. Looking good! Working even better. Right side door tweeked for a better fit after receiving damage from previous owner/driver.

The weight would be a help for this car. I haven't weighed it yet bur I put it on a rigid diet of plasma cutting and aluminum. Hope it weighs in closer to minimum. |

thanks Eric. You mean I haven't been keeping you up with all the late night noise coming from the barn, right? Maybe its a good thing you live at the other end of the block. Your wraps were looking super too. You keep up the good work. |

While you all have been slinging mud at each other we've been working on our cars. Pun intended. Here's some pics of the engine getting freshed up.
