It seems a lot of 50 amp fuses have blown here lately.
Maybe we should all see what we can do to make a positive difference for the club in 2009.
All differences need not be resolved for the earth to still turn ,tomorrow is not a promise but a possible opportunity.
A lot of people put forth great effort for our Saturday night fun ,little reward and few acknowledgements, most of us are not willing to put forth such commitment the least we can do is think before entering critical comments if it is necessary we should provide a solution not just a complaint.
None of us can change the Regionals being cancelled or a group providing an alternate venue, or Western States changing the Sportsman points system,or Ray Sarah or Mike Lewis not getting the most improved driver award,or coaching Chris into a better public speaker,or being upset that some were motivated to help the mini dwarfs in a parade,or take back the end of the year party

What we can change is exercising sportsmanship ,we may not like each other or anyone at all ,grit our teeth and smile if we have too or do one nice thing for someone every night we are there if it dont make you feel better maybe it will make someone else feel better.
If contact is made on the track help fix the car or drive in control.

This racing is all for fun if it stops being fun maybe it is time to stop racing.

Thanks Kevin for the words of wisdom. I can only hope that they will be taken well and sportsmanship will thrive in the following season. I can hardly wait to race you this year and to see what I can learn from it. I also am of the opinion that the administrators of this site will not allow postings of the kind we have recently seen. Such postings are damaging to members and the club. There is a private message button that could be used if you want to vent about someone or to someone. Use it.

I like your thinking Kevin beside the more people having fun when racing the more people will come to watch.
