Just wondering why the push-pull switch didnt work.  Also, all else fails push in clutch, put in 1st gear, hold brake and let out clutch.  May break something else but motor probably wouldnt have blown up.  One thing I have run into with the push-pull, if it is wired up with the wrong wires and you still have the alternator working the alternator will actually keep the motor running with the push-pull off.  So you have to be careful how it is wired.

curt, he did try dumping the clutch, but it cooked the clutch almost instantly. and you were exactly right about the switch, he had the alt. hooked to the engine side of the switch so when switch was off it still ran off the alternator.

Marc got it on video, he is trying to send it to me.  I have seen (heard) it and it is not pleasent!  If anyone has my space and is on Marcs friend list it is there.  Not sure how my space works.  I will try and put it on the BB as soon as I get it.

Let this be a lesson too us all ,check your own car 5000 rpm try to kill it with the switch could save a lot of money !!
