REGIONAL CANCELLED (VRA POINTS RACE STILL ON SCHEDULE)
The 2008 Dwarf Car Regional event scheduled for Saturday November 7 & 8 has been canceled due to scheduling issues that precludes us from running a two day program and the added car count that would be present for a one day show.
*****PLEASE NOTE THAT VENTURA RACEWAY WILL STILL HOLD A VRA SANCTIONED POINTS RACE ON NOVEMBER 8TH.

I dont really understand the reason to cancel a WSDCA event but ok, whatever,although you had all year to plan it... and not being able to handle all the cars for a 1 day event? what are you going to do if all those people show up anyway?
Sorry for inconvenience? I hope Kelly from Oregon and the Morris's can get those tickets refunded for flying out to support YOUR event. wow.

This not right in any way shape or form. I'm mind boggled on why this was not handled way before today. There is alot of people that have been planning this event all year long and to cancel this because VRA is worried about having to many cars does not make any sense. If VRA had any problems with running a Regional it should have been handled in RENO!! We have ran a 1 day show in the past so why is this an issue now with only 12 days before.......to cancel the regional and still hold a pionts race is a slap in the face to everyone that was counting on this Regional race for pionts.
THIS NEEDS TO BE EXPLAINED TO EVERYONE IN PLAIN ENGLISH WHY THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please make this right so we don't end up a single eninty dwarf car club. Being part of WSDCA is a important part of the continued healthly growth of dwarf car racing and these type of situations does not help that process.
