This is from the Ventura Web Site. Can someone PLEASE tell me if the mini's are running. I have called the track and left several messages. According to this posting they are but, we were told the mini's were only on the 28th of Feb.
Another session, for other divisions, has been slated for March 7.
Saturday’s schedule calls for the Ventura Racing Association’s Mini Dwarf and Junior Midgets to practice for three hours, starting at 10 a.m. The pits will open at 9:30 a.m. for those divisions only.
The pits will open for the adult categories at noon and technical inspections will be available at that time until 3 p.m.
The adult categories will conduct single-car runs for two hours starting at 1 p.m. Group sessions will start at 3:30 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.
Pit passes cost $30 but grandstand admission is free..

VENTURA, Calif. (March 2, 2009) – Ventura Raceway hosts its second pre-season practice Saturday, March 7. The event is open to all Ventura Racing Association classes and others scheduled to race at the Raceway in 2009, with the exception of the track’s youth divisions.
The pit gates open at noon and single-car sessions begin at 1 p.m. Group sessions will start at 4:30 p.m.
Pit passes cost $30 and spectator admission is free.
The 2009 Ventura Raceway season is scheduled to kickoff on March 14.
