To all the Mini Dwarfs and Junior Midgets,

I spoke to the coordinator of the Camarillo Christmas Parade and got more information as to what our limitations are to enter.

The parade is on December 13th at 11am.

Here are the details: In order for the kids to drive in the parade, we would have to provide insurance releasing the city and parks and rec. Is this obtainable??? Highly doubtful...

If we want to use a flat bed, we wouldn't need anything other than the parade entry form. The kids could have their cars up there and they could sit on the edge of the trailer or they could walk on the side of the truck.

Please let me know your thoughts and ideas on this so we can get our entry in before the parade fills up.

I went ahead and sent in the application for Ventura Raceway. Hopefully we get on the list, which I will know more in a few weeks for sure.

I think the decision is now leaning towards the parents pushing the cars through the parade as most of the street is level and downhill. We will discuss this more at our drivers meeting on Saturday so please think of any questions or ideas you may have. We are open to anything!

IT'S TOO BAD THAT THERE ISN'T SOMEONE WITH BIG FLAT BED TRAILER, THAT THE MINI'S COULD BE LOADED ON FOR THE PARADE WITH THE KIDS AND THEIR CARS.

Agromin has one but it is 4 feet off the ground and the kids will not be visible . Besides, I think the kids would rather be in full dress in their cars, like they are driving, and waving to the crowd.

We will see what other options there are on Saturday.

Thanks to the generous offer of Jeff Shelton and Brent Stevens, we have the full use of two monster-size low beds that Jeff is offering to us for the parade. We can decorate it however we want and get at least 8 cars on each.

I currently have 16 people interested in doing the parade from Saturday's race. Maybe more want to sign up now that they do not have to push!!! Please let me know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

I am open to any ideas on decorating too. I have a huge flag set that I will use somehow, a banner from Ventura Raceway and maybe some stickers to hand out to the crowd.

This will be such a great experience for the kids and the crowd will love it!
