Thanks to everyone who has participated in the October fundraising event. Several of the drivers that committed with there involvement have approached me on how to make there donations. I have checked with American cancer society, I was informed it would be best for them if we all deposited or cashed our checks, then wrote individual checks to "American Cancer Society".
Saturdays final race I will have envelopes and a roster in which we can add the balance raised. For each donation, I would like to have the individual, self address so I can have a receipt mailed to you in the off season.
Aside from the drivers who have participated donating there purse winnings, last week in Hanford, Kristy Cotrell had seen my postings and was kind enough to make it a point and track me down, not knowing who I am, and made a generous donation. Thank you Kristy, it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you!
