QUESTIONS for the track. We are new jr. midget drivers and need some clarification on a couple of things.
1. The springs seem ti be over rated?????
2. We heard that we were using different shock absorbers this year True
or false. We have looked for the Bilstein 4-B36-1008-140 and can not find it, as stated in the 2009 rule book.
For all of you that are waiting for the Mini Dwarf Rules for 2009, they have been posted on the Ventura Raceway Site. Don't know when that happened, just wanted to get the word out.

Wouldn't you just know it ... rules finally posted 4 days before the first practice .... AND .... The new rules in effect

Yep ... NO car presently run in the division has 1.25 tubing on the roll cage (1.0 was what had been required previously)
and NO car presently run in the division has 1x1 1/2 rectangular box for main rails (3/4 x 1 1/2 had been required previously)
If this isn't changed or addressed every car presently running at Ventura will have to be rebuilt ...
